If you have been asked to provide consent to hold your Personal Data in order to publish some of it on www.oakwoodchurch.info please complete this online form.

Explanatory Notes

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, there are occasions when Oakwood Church must obtain your explicit consent to hold and use information identifying you. This is known as ‘Personal Data’.

Personal Data includes, but is not limited to, your: name; email; preferred telephone number(s); postal address; and image.

If we ask you to supply Personal Data and give consents for specific purposes, it will not be used for other purposes.

The Church Administrator may ask you to provide separate consents allowing Oakwood Church to hold and use your Personal Data for various legitimate purposes, for examples: organising worship; organising church activities; administering pastoral care; accounting for financial donations; etc.

We may ask you to provide separate explicit consents to publish your Personal Data on our Website www.oakwoodchurch.info; display it on our Noticeboards; or to share your Personal Data with the organisers of Church Sponsored Events and Social Activities such as the Oakwood Church Walking Group.

This Privacy Notice provides full details of how Oakwood Church will use your Personal Data. Printed copies of the Privacy Notice and the most recent Personal Data and consents you have given us, will be supplied on request. (Please contact the Church Administrator.)

To comply with Methodist Church Policy, to ensure your Personal Data is accurate and up to date, and that we aren’t unnecessarily holding Personal Data, every two years we we ask people to refresh our records by completing new GDPR consent forms
