Our rooms are not usually available to hire on Sundays but we may be able to make exceptions for Ceremonies such as Weddings and Baptisms.

The Oakwood Church building and grounds are owned by The Methodist Church. NO Smoking, NO Vaping, NO E-Cigarettes and NO Alchohol of any kind anywhere on the premises.
Free WiFi throughout the building.
Dimensions 12 m (40’) wide and 14 m (45’) long. High pent roof.

200 seats. Carpeted floor. Organ and electronic piano. Podium with lectern. Public address (PA) system with radio microphones. Two ceiling-fixed digital projectors each with a wall-mounted retractable screen. WiFi and ethernet connections to our fibre broadband router mean Church Services, Celebrations, Meetings and Performances can be live-streamed over the internet. Hirers may require appropriate digital equipment to live-stream their meetings or performances. Please ask.

Hard floor. Microphone and Public Address (PA) system available. Tables and chairs are available. Access to the New Room, Sanctuary and WCs via the central lobby.
Suitable for children’s parties and games. Can accommodate a Bouncy Castle, etc. Prices on request e.g. for an affordable 2-hour children’s party on a Saturday morning or afternoon.
The main external access to the Hall is from the Car Park through a carpeted lobby furnished with seven comfortable sofa-seats and a coffee table. The space may be used as a reception area, waiting room or break-out room.
The Hall Lobby is automatically included if you hire the Hall.
At times when the Hall is not hired out, church groups may use the Hall Lobby as an impromptu meeting area.
With two servery-counters (ceiling-retractable electric shutters) and doors opening to the Hall or the New Room.
It is available to hire along with either the Hallthe New Room or both. Alternatively with both the Sanctuary and New Room or all three groundfloor rooms.
Large modern well-equipped catering certified kitchen with two plumbed hot water boilers, gas hobs, two main gas ovens, microwave oven, kettles, refrigerator, food preparation counter, catering fast-batch dishwasher.
Ample crockery and cutlery, utensils, etc. Please ask.
