Services
Children & Young People are welcome to take part in all Services. They are designed in an all-age way.
Creche
Is available for under-4s at all 10.15 a.m. Services. There is a dedicated seating area at the back of the Sanctuary (the main Worship space at Oakwood Church) equipped with toys and floorspace for play. Parents/Carers remain responsible for supervising their under-4s.
Parade Service
Scouts, Guides and our other Children & Young People take active parts in Parade Services on the 2nd Sunday of some months.
Oakwood Kids – for children ages 4 to 8
Meets in the Hall on the 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month, starting at 10.15 as the Service begins in the Sanctuary. Older children are welcome to join in with Oakwood Kids. Later in the Service, all children join their parents/carers in Worship.
SYNC* – for children children aged 8 and up
*Sunday Youth Need Christ/Chocolate/Crisps.
SYNC meets weekly on Sunday evenings during school term time, from 6.30 to 7.45 p.m. at Oakwood Church.
A space where young people can explore life and faith together. We also go bowling, watch films, have bake-off competitions, play lots of strange games, and much more…
SYNC is offered in partnership with Missional Generation whose youth worker helps us lead youth work at Oakwood Church.
