Café – Monday has become quite a gathering place for both young and not so young. Anyone and everyone is welcome.
From 10.00 until 12.30 on Monday mornings during school term, and sometimes during the school holidays, we open our Café in the accessible Hall at Oakwood Church – entrance towards the rear of our free car park. Location.
The heating is on in winter and tables are set up where you can work or just take time out to relax.
Adults can enjoy a hot drink with free refills, perhaps an affordable snack such as a toasted teacake, or one of our delicious bacon sandwiches. We also offer a variety of homemade cakes and buns which are very popular… why not take one home for later?
There are complimentary drinks and lots of toys for children to play with.
It’s a friendly place to chat with friends and make new ones. You don’t have to buy anything, just come in and enjoy the company. We really do look forward to helping everyone feel at home here.

Proceeds from our Cafés usually go towards the upkeep of Oakwood Church but we also support other charities throughout the year.
